It's good to see a video of Bardwells! I've been there several times and have only seen a light power movement. Someday I'd like to get a video of them exiting the cut westbound.

If they are spending the money for intermodal why not bring track speeds to 60-70

I have heard rumors that they may get things up to 50mph, if they are able to grow traffic in the next few years. They will also be upgrading everything to meet the 286k lbs standards.
60-70 for freight would require a ton of increased maintenance costs and physical plant improvement. It would also make it the fastest rail in new england other than the NEC.

Go to Bardwells now, the entire west end from Athol to Mechanicville is almost all 25, 30, 35, or 40. It's cool!

The only problem is that almost everything runs in the dark! I've tried a few night videos, but they all look the same after a while....
