It would sun bleach the colour a little. If you're using a dark fur it wouldn't hurt it TOO much(Unless you want to keep the really dark darks), but if you're using al ighter colour fur, I suggest drying indoors because the fading is pretty obvious.
It also depends on what kind of dye the fur was made with.

Obviously this is for unpadded/untheatrical suits :P

Sun drying suits tends to melt the fur, since its made of plastic :V

@MasterGiegue Only if you live in the desert. Generally plastic based furs can withstand temperatures of up to 120 without melting. Mohair survives those kinds of heats a little better(Because its cotton based).
I've never seen sun drying melt fur, but then again I live in DC and not on Venus.

Have you ever washed your fursuit? It sounds like you don't have much experience with it.

my fursuit is waaaay to expensive to wash it like that. plus the head has wires and led lights for the eyes and stuff nope i would advise talking to the one who made you it if you really wanna clean it or find a safe way of doing it if you made it yourself..:/

....you should NEVER NEVER NEVER soak your head.
NEVER NEVER.
LEDs, electronics, or just a plain old head.
Getting water in your foam will expediate it's degredation.
And most makers won't clean your fursuits for you.
