What is the perfect Neo? In my eyes Frankie Maximus is the perfect Neo.

His look and physique were the harmony of a perfect mating between Hamis his father and Canzanella his mother. Frankie is her only child and she has sadly passed on.

I hope you enjoy this short film.

  • Sorry man but neos or corso is better for guarding???

  • @aenglot - Both breeds are great guarding breeds in terms of original reason for their creation. Unfortunately it really is down to the individual breeder and his/her breeding selection. Some of the best italian neapolitan mastini for guarding originated from the lines of Uberto Gasche and Faynad, if you can find a breeder who kept closely to their standards then for small space guarding they are untouchable. For larger grounds, Cane Corso are kings, but a little trigger happy. Good luck.

  • Neo is the best- I loved mine. He was very good to me and protected me till the end. Once you have one... Well any other dog wont do.

  • @kateoconnor13 - agreed, your comment brought tears to my eyes :'(

  • This is the end of a beautiful line, he has no siblings, and never had a chance to procreate though he had plenty goes with another pedigree female, he just couldnt tell the difference from mounting on the front to the rear, oh Frankie, my superstar!

  • Theres not a minute which goes by that I keep wandering what I could have done to prevent his passing. But life is life, the best things in life are short lived and experienced. Knowing Frankie, he will be waiting for me in the next world, and I truly cannot wait to see him again and spend the rest of eternity with my boy. Frankie my boy I have your bones and fried chicken - I will see you soon!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

all over its a nice dog.

  • I want one so badly D:

  • awsome dog, have newfys now but am considering this breed next, am still doing my home work

  • I am hoping to get a new pup soon. Do you have any experience with the Boerboel, as they seem very similar to Cane Corso's?

  • They are, I bought mine for almost 3000. They are ancient

  • badass looking dog.hopefully this isnt a rare or expensive breed cuz id like a dog like this

  • Your both right the neapolitan mastiff was bred for centuries as a dog of war in bloody roman circus and then as estate guardian it is in there blood.Where as German sheperds where trained as protection dogs for 100s of years there temperment is exceptable to be trained and handled.Neapolitan mastiffs are naturally territorial and strong guard instinct.German sheperds have been bred to be all around dogs schutzuhund ,obedience, tracking service etc.

  • lmao, nice saggy balls XD
