I'm in the right channel, the actual song is in the left channel.
Woohoo! I haven't done a cover in ages... but here's a new one! I heard this song this afternoon, loved it, and decided to make a video of it! Hope you enjoy it!

  • Ah shit I just realized that on my cover of this song I have on my channel I'm not supposed to palm mute those open D's for that first part of the first riff.

I got the solo on mine as well but no whammy bar like you so we gotta improv those whammy dives Cantrell does hehe stills sounds sick.

I think you can definitely get that end solo, it's not too bad, if you look at how I did it on my cover you can easily pull it off I'm sure.

  • @ReasonableRam Haha I can play it, I just chose not to here :)

  • could you teach the main riff

  • @camobelt4 Yeah, it's a pretty simple riff really

  • @evilotto77cheese whoa, awesome sound dude, truly! just wondering is it standard tuning or drop-d?

  • @Mech4troN It's definitely drop something

  • is this in the normal alice tuning?

  • awesome tone and awesome playing. long live AiC

  • where you from?

  • I live in Okinawa. I play bass, rhythm, and lead guitar. I'd be down for some internet collaborations. I'm no crazy shred head when it comes to leads, but I can solo. I dunno anything about recording or mixing, but I would be glad to collaborate with you

  • Good job braddah.

  • you are in the right channel ; )

  • great cover bro. like a lot of people have said, you got Jerry's tone down perfectly. check out my cover, tell me if it's any good...

  • @evilotto77cheese drop c#

  • @Mech4troN E flat (half step below normal) is the standard Alice In Chains tuning. Then you drop the 6th string 1 step and there you have it!
