I take it you mean Gen Hoe restaurant at State and Harrison Streets. That restaurant has been a Geneva institution since the 1960s. It used to be located a little further east and was carry-out only. Piece of trivia: The current location of Gen Hoe was once a gas station!

I do not live in Geneva, only work there. It is a great town with great people.

I live here, Although its a nice town, its nice for adults. I just graduated, and there is a ridiculous amount of stoners. I mean just a crap load.

Yes, Gen Ho used to be Andy and Glenn's City Service and then Citco. Einar (Andy) Anderson was my grandfather. When we came back home to visit from Ohio, we would always stop there and that was a big event for us kids. It's nice to hear the old gas stationed mentioned. He was Swedish like eveyone was back then. Geneva is a great town and I only wish I could spend more time back there. Reid Coleman

I lived on this street. Just look at the traffic gridlock. It was a cool town in the 80's before the Randall Road stores and developments west of Randall Road. I'm glad to be out. Too bad, it was once the perfect small town.

well, i used to live in wisconsin. but in millwakee. Much bigger. but i love it here. oh, go to Grams choc. Its the best!!

I have not seen the last of Geneva.....I desperately miss it out there and will be back soon!!!!!!!!! I don't care what it akes to get back there, I will be back in Geneva!!!!!!!!!

@btjohnson83 Chicago isn't a town though. It's a city. Geneva is pretty big.
