This is one of the best interviews I ever seen about the nature of art and what it means to be an artist, thank you Dana Gioia for bringing this to us. Ryan is so clear and wise, and comforting in the unadorned, matter-of-fact way she presents her ideas.

Wonderful! I had the pleasure of listening to Kay recite live in 2009. Truly delightful. She is a unique, engaging person who oozes creativity.
