  • I agree with 64MDL but then I claim that Stockhausen's chior-Writing has continued to be as stunning as in his beginnings - I attended the first performances of Montag aus Licht 1988 (the first act "Evas Erstgeburt" is an 80 mins long choir and synthesizers "fresco" ) and Engelprozessionen 2002 - unforgettable moments of my life!

  • Along with Momente, Carré is, in my opinion, Stockhausen's greatest work. Awe-inspiring, beautiful and with a surprisingly heft emotional clout and sense of wonder that gives the two-fingered salute to those morons who call the avant-garde arid and aloof.

  • I think Miles Davis in some point in time has said , that the only stuff he was really interested in listening to was Stockhausen.

  • This is "out" and totally awesome! I would love to see the score for this composition!

  • How does this compare to Charles Ives 4 Symphony?

  • I recently bought this one and it blew me away and wil continue to do so for the next years. A thing of beauty is a joy forever , especially if it has some complexety to it .

Support the Stockhausen Verlag that keeps everything available I want to add to that.

    Fly on Stocky !
