Want to view your character in a 3rd person or over the shoulder perspective? To do so is very easy. All you have to do is hit the F5 key on your keyboard. To switch back to first person mode, hit the F5 key again.

what if you keyboard has a different function for f5 and dosent have a full keypad??

Guys if you really really want to look infront of your character, install singleplayer mods and go under chat and say "/freecam" and you can go around looking at stuff, or your character. Thumbs up so people can see. ( I dont mean to be a thumb whore but, it helps.)

@killerratz3 i found out how - look for a button yhat has Fn on it and hold that whilst pressing F5
