My uncle who recently passed away, helped mostly women and their young children cross the border of Iran to help them into the U.S. He was the eldest son of the eldest son of the Shah of Iran. They made a movie about him. He was never allowed to talk about this. However, after his death, my family told me this. And now he is well known for what he has accomplished that was against his country, religion, and family beliefs/values.

How do any Americans actually believe that we topple regimes for the good of the people there? In Iran and in multiple Latin American countries we spent the Cold War years toppling promising, democratically elected governments to install puppet strongmen to do our bidding by any means necessary. STOP VOLUNTEERING OUR TAX DOLLARS FOR THIS! WE COULD HAVE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE INSTEAD!
