@Citizen5667 No you are wrong..... the sensor bar only emits light.. the wiimote receives... and the wiimote communicates to the Wii via Bluetooth... you can actually play without the sensor bar with two candles.. check it with the camera on your cell or search youtube a bit.
The Playstation 3 is the only console that uses Bluetooth technology.
All you need is a PS3! Did I mention it has one of the best Blu-Ray players out there?!
Also, I wanted to add that I purchased my PS3 used for about $100 with the wimpy 40GB hard drive. Since I knew it could be swapped out for any laptop hard drive, I replaced the 40GB with a 750GB hard drive. They don't even sell those!

The Wii actually does use IR, that's what that sensor bar is for.
