My dad owns one that we go to a few 1000 yard matchs with. fun gun to shoot prone like that

i think this is a good choice when you life on a farm or something like that,but then again you would need to know if and when someone is coming,regardless i would like to shoot some rounds off with it

I bought My AR-50 used not to pricey, surplus ammo $2.25 each. I must say I stopped drinking and the AR is cheaper and a better kick. The coolest rifle I have ever shot. I love it

Owning something like this is somewhat of a dream of mine, But What would you really use it for? Take it to the range fire 5 shots, oh there goes 25$

@Tehl33tpwnage >$20, I get a deal on ammo from my dealer, but yeah, I understand your point. And really, the only time I fire it is on an occasional trip to the range. It was a divorce present to myself. Why own it? Other than because I can? Well, there's really no other reason. It's expensive, but fun, to shoot.

I noticed a little fire on impact. Blue Tip? API? The lack of the yellowish smoke has me wondering. I didn't see a trace so that leaces out APIT and Spotter-Tracer. My AR50 is one of my favorite guns and never gets left in the safe on range day.
