  • Did she ever actually record this song. I love it. I've gotten a bit obsessed with it in the last few days.

  • @redstatesrule No, Judy's recording days were over by this time. Judy signed a contract for ABC Records in 1967, but the only record they churned out was the Palace concert.

  • She was still very present though wasn't she? On TV and on the concert stage? Or was her career practically over?

  • Judy was very present during the year, though she wasn't very well and with huge debts.

  • This audio tape is an ultra rare find

I must admit i do prefer the song"its all for you" performed on the same night.

her rendition of this song is much better at The Talk Of The Town engagement..much more slick & up tempo.

Bless Judy..she still had her indomitable wit to fall back on.

  • What a coincidence! I do have 'The Talk Of The Town' concert and was planning to post some songs up! I'll get on it right away!

  • Do you have the audio of the Margaret hamilton interview? That would be amazing!

  • I have my faves like, Barbra Streisand and Nancy Wilson, but Judy is the greatest ever!

  • She sounds better then half - correction most of these young'ans on X Factor these days and she was half dead at the time

  • @19171969 Actually, the more she sang it, the faster she plowed through it, and made hash out of the lyrics. It is possible that Mickey Deans preferred the Merv Griffin show version to the Talk of the Town version, and so used it on the album.

  • Judy is the greatest ever there was

  • As Judy got more familiar with this song, she sang it better in her last concerts.

  • aside from the self-deprecating lyrics of this song, which some may attribute to Judy personally, whatever the case may be, i think she was on the cusp of a second comeback. Judy was a fighter. her death at the dawn of the new decade is an open case in my book.
