The biggest house to house fight of the war - Fallujah was a miserable defeat for the insurgents. We lost 49 Marines killed, and they over 1,200 confirmed dead...plus another 1,000 captured.
CQB fighting is where odds are even for both sides. We win battles because of our coordination, comm and logistics.
The only people that ever gave us a run for our money were the Japs on Iwo.

I'm American and I am not proud of Americas war machine.This is one example and another is the modern day war in Iraq.We have superior equipment fighting men running around in sandals.Yet if we strip out stuff like night vision and planes that circle and take out the arabs....if we put men on the ground and put them to fight who would win?I think the arabs by long shot.

Proud to be the North American... 19,000 soldiers against only 800 Spanish. And Spain will cost 58 dead and 170 wounded and killed 205 United States and 1200 wounded. Shame me daria and above to make a movie... Hey by the way the Spaniards on the Hill not had no gun.

both sides used the "vickers" & "potato digger" machine guns. Invented by american "vicker".... sold patends to Germany, England, Russians
