  • From reading other comments, it sounds like a low voltage warning feature is built into the speed control. If so its telling you to land so you don't destroy your lipo battery by over draining it.

  • Exactly the same as what i have just found with my new 450se v2. The tone of the motor changes, and it was the align ESC. I am not sure what causes it but it is a pain in the ass! Forgive me, but have you found a solution at all? I haven't read all replies yet.

  • Hi, I'm PVD68's buddy....just to calrify: You can actually hear the ESC/motor changing speed...this is what causes the tail to move and then the gyro attempts to correct this. Since it happened with the same ESC on two different motors, I tend to think it's not the motor...it's got to be the ESC. pvd60 has sent his ESC back to the store to have it checked.

  • I have exactly the same issue with my 450 - it's not mechanical and it's not the gyro - happens in all 3 flight modes (i.e. different throttle settings) and different gyro gains in both hh and normal gain mode. A buddy of mine just built his new 450 this weekend and it started showign the same behaviour after 4 flights. It has to be the ESC - I think Align has a problem with some of it's ESC's...

  • that's your low battery alarm generated by the esc you can adjust it but lipo batts don't like being run too flat

  • I might know what it is, do you have any delay, if you do turn it to 0

  • get a carbon tail push rod and all will be resolved!

  • So what is it eventually ?

I think there are bindings in the tail, take out the servo horn and check. Also use the closest servo horn hole.

  • This is the esc .. check its setup !! Also try with a full charged battery..

  • Hello there. Try another fully charged battery. I had the same problem...but only just before the battery was empty. When i replaced with a fully charged battery the wagging stopped. It`s a warning that the volt is to low. There is just enough power left to land safe. Hope this helps.
