John and Horace Dodge began building cars in 1914. In 1916 they began building 1/2 ton Commercial Cars (trucks). This slideshow is DB truck reference materials I've collected over the years.

  • hi my dad has a 26 dodge pickup that would like to make into a screen side, you have a lot of good mat. where can i get that??

  • @christina1111chicken Your Dad has a big job ahead of him. Original screens have always been hard to find. Farmers took them off and used them for hog pens and chicken coops. The screens are C-channel and bent wire so they can be made from scratch. The roof is wood and fabric, not hard to make. Your Dad can find just about anything he needs to know in the Dodge Brothers Club Newsletter Archives:

    Google dodgebrothersclub

They sell a CD of all their back issues. Great Xmas gift.

  • I just found a wheel HUB to one of these trucks tires.... Found it metal detcting!!! YAHOOO... WHATS a find...

  • Great! Now go find the rest of the truck. :D

  • all of these are dodges right everyone of them?

  • There are a couple of Graham Brother's trucks in there but these photos are all 4 cylinder DB engines and chassis built before 1927. I hadn't watched this in awhile. Thanks.

  • wtf? 25 m.p.h.??!! Over 25 mph and it voids the warrantee?? LOL!!!

  • Get right on it!!

  • I bet the screenside will be a beauty - and a thing of beauty is a joy forever. Good luck with it. I am restoring a 1921 Dodge Tourer that was converted to a utility during the depression - so I found your video inspiring. Cheers.

  • Thanks Pinmaclean. I'm restoring a 1926 Dodge Brothers screenside and this is my photographic reference material. If someone sees something they need, I can email the photo(s).
