Grant Duncan track written about Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Sunday morning, waiting for the sun
In Cyberjaya there's nowhere left to run
She's awoken to see it through
There's not a cloud left to ruin our view
There's an element of truth when I hear people say it's not worth the strain
All the King's women sat gormless in a row it's beyond the price of pain
The madness confusion utter disarray so obvious for all to see
Nowhere do I want to be but Somewhere next to you
Driving slowly to Prima Avenue
There's a choice worth making
It's mind can be your's too
There's little movement, that's alright by me
A day of madness, solitude is the key
There's an element of truth when I hear people say it's not worth the strain
All the King's women sat gormless in a row it's beyond the price of pain
The madness confusion utter disarray so obvious for all to see
Nowhere do I want to be but Somewhere next to you
Song written and recorded by Grant Duncan for the album Stories from Cyber, released May 2011.
Spanning an area of about 28.94 square kilometres, the town is the nucleus of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) or now known as MSC Malaysia. The site for Cyberjaya was primarily undeveloped land consisting of oil palm plantations. It is still largely an 'emerging' town. The current population in Cyberjaya is now at 39,000 people, the working community (MNCs, foreign-owned and local developed companies with MSC status) account for 15,000 or 39% of total population in Cyberjaya, students population stood at 13,000 or 33% in 2010.
