It exist a song that reminds very much of Deadline USA. I don´t know if that song is by Shalamar too and I remember not much of the text, exept woohoo or something. The lenght is 4-5 minutes, I think.

No;it's not on the "Friends" album,and has never been ! :-) it IS 1984 !

I thought that Deadline U.S.A. was to be found in the Friends album;therefore it seems strange to me that it's "1984"...

Pity this song never charted. It was used in a forgettable 1983 movie called D.C. Cab starring Mr. T. Thanks for posting!!
