i love al of them but to honest number 3 was not that amazing the whole thing with the kid ruined it for me i so hope that number 5 comes out before some studio takes over and remakes it i mean cumon who else could play the tall man

The scene where there is no one else in the city and he sees the Tall Man coming from a distance is amazingly creepy. The way he was a lot bigger than his normal size made it that much more tense. I just find villains/ghosts approacing from a distance the best type of horror scene. Much prefer it to the cheap shocks. I liked this film for it's quirkiness, and it did kind of step away from the cliched guidelines of a typical horror plot. Very atmospheric, though not as good as the first one

@Donatello97 The IV meant well with A.Michael Baldwin back as Mike, I have the movie and was it weak. I watched it because it was Phantasm. Yes the 1st 2 was made with effort, creativity and of course passion.

The last 2 was and should have not been made because of the slow and out of pace timing with redicules scenerios. The best thing of the movie though is the Bara Cuda Hemi. Wish Chrysler release that again!!!!!

Ya the girl with the nunchuck karate skills definitly cheesed out the movie a bit, and 'home alone' timmy running around killing adults was alittle too quirky as well. But still, I found it pretty entertaining up until the 3rd act which completely sucked imo. The first Phantasm is brilliant regarding the visuals, atmosphere, score, SFX and surrealness of it all. But I found II to be the most entertaining and it improved on the Special effects. IV however is the weakest...

Somebody mentioned based on the Script that apperantly he was eaten alive by those dwarves.

And I just finished watching PIV last night, and overall I'd have to say it's the weakest of the franchise. prettty dissapointing, even III managed to rival it. ;p
