ever since his first commercial, I drink Tanq like water....I'll probably die of a perforated liver but I don't care, this guy rules!!!

I love these adverts. I wish more spirits companies would lighten up and inject some (please note, non-"laddish") humour into their ads.
-
I wish they bring back the Christmas ones every year.

are you serious. im british and find it hilarious. i just came back from a holiday in LA i have friends from there. i saw a TV advert for a local mercedez benz car dealer and the advert used a british accent for the sales pitch so it swings boith ways.
just like when americans are portrayed as fat inbreds in a lot of UK comedys its all just there for humour. dont take it so serious.
tony sinclair, a legend living amongst mere mortals.

Is that how American advertising executives think we British people speak? I'm disgusted and would like to ban the export of Tanqueray from the British Isles, the american market clearly isn't ready for it.

Whoever created this character was a genius. These are my favorite ads of all time; his Tanqueray Rangpur bit was perfect.

His laugh is too funny. I miss his commercials!!

Be easy, my man. It's not meant to be taken seriously, just here for a few chuckles. If this were a public service announcement or a serious advertisement, that's when you should possibly take offense.
I imagine that there are a few things floating around on your side of the soil presenting us Americans in a comical, over-the-top manner. But oh well, life is too short to get riled over trivial things.
