Demonia is a very, very good Horror movie. Of course not as good as Zombie, House by the Cemetary or The Beyond, but still good. One of the best Horror filmmakers ever! R.I.P

@Mistermax30 Most great directors are sadistic. Look at Stanley Kubrick.

@nick999999999999999 It was promoted as a sequel to Dawn of the Dead in Italy. Don't think it has any real connections with Romero's movies other then the similarities that they both have to do with walking corpses. That's my opinion.

@Rudeyoungman20its a prequel to dawn of the dead

R.I.P Lucio Fulci you will be missed

He did some fantastic films.

It would of been great to see a sequel to Zombi 2 aka Zombie back in the day when Lucio Fulci was alive and show what happened in New York, dealing with the zombie epidemic and probably the rest of the world.

The Smuggler's great, but I like Marcel Bozzuffi anyway. He was one under-rated actor.
Lizard and Duckling are excellent - his two masterpieces. The new UK DVD of Lizard is the best one to get, and Amazon have it cheap at the minute.
Some of his later movies do have a soft-focus, vaseline-on-the-lens look.
4 of the Apocalypse is violent, but slow-moving - more a horror movie than a western. I like it, but many don't.

Yes, I love the smuggler too! My favorite Fulci film so far.
I actually have most of his 70's films to get through, I just got Four of the apocalypse, and I lied I haven't seen MR or CITB yet xD.
Now, I was just wondering: Is it my copies, or do his fantasy films have an overly bright pastel colour to them (especially conquest)?
Thanks for the recommendation anway, I will have to track those later ones down.

OK. I go along with you on Dangerous Obsession - one of the best post-1982 Fulci movies.
The best one is House of Clocks, which is a great little movie, and Voices From Beyond is also decent (if a bit slow). If you've not seen either, they're worth the effort.
I like Fulci as a character and as a director, but his best stuff is firmly rooted between 1969-1982. My two favourites are LIZARD IN A WOMAN'S SKIN and THE SMUGGLER, both two of my favourite Italian movies.
Fulci lives eheh !
