ATTENTION: I made a big mistake regarding the Roundtable meeting. I ended up mixing last year's roundtable with this year's, so consider any information related to that in the video (which is a lot) from both years. But important is that it's all true, so don't worry! Thank you.

The Legend of Zelda (??????, Zeruda no Densetsu?) is a high fantasy action-adventure video game series created by game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and developed and published by Nintendo. The gameplay consists of a mixture of action, adventure, puzzle solving, role-playing and occasional platforming, stealth and racing elements. The series centers around Link, the main playable character and protagonist. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the most common setting of the series, Hyrule, from Ganon who is the primary antagonist of the series. However other settings and antagonists have appeared throughout the games, with Vaati having recently become the series' secondary antagonist. The story commonly involves a relic known as the Triforce, a set of three golden triangles of omnipotence. The protagonist in each game is not always the same iteration of Link, although the same character sometimes appears across multiple games.
The Legend of Zelda series has sold over 52 million copies since the release of the first game, The Legend of Zelda[1], and continues to be successful worldwide. The series consists of fourteen official games on all of Nintendo's major consoles, as well as several spin-offs. An animated series based on the games aired in 1989, and a manga adaptation officially endorsed and commissioned by Nintendo has been produced in Japan since 1997.

  • It better be more mysterious than tp... That would definetly make it darker :)

  • @toddman22410

They are, There showing a trailer and there will be a demo at E3 2010.

  • I WANT A NEW ZELDA GAME AND WILL BUY A NINTENDO Wii JUST FOR THE DAMN GAME ! ATARASHII ZELDA NO DENSETSU TEREBI GEMU KUDSAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SONO GEMU NI Wii KATTE KIMASU!

  • i swear to fucking god if they dont show any new zelda material at E3 2010 i will fucking kill myself! (not really!) i am so tired of waiting. its evil! i mean i would start showing pictures like 2 months before its release instead of like 6 months!

  • i wonder after peicing together the shelf space comment along with miyamoto not wanting to release anything at E3 that they will have a new Wii attatchment that you plug into the back of the wii so it acts like a sheild. it would be cool because you could have a white hylian sheild on your left arm, lift it up, and block! :D

  • in the intro there is solid snake music lol

    !}{!

  • Hey this may make me sound like a loser but after tp if you wait like 30mins after the "the end" screen there's a cut scene of midna saying goodbye and she shatters the mirror with her tear and walks into the twilight world and then the mirror shatters so either it's not going to be based off of tp or it's a mission to find every little tiny fragment (which wouldn't be that great)

  • it was to my understanding that link went to Termina in search of his lost fairy Navi well... he never found her! i really wish that the next zelda game would continue off of Majoras Mask in search of Navi. To me it seems that the players dont want anything too new, it seems the players would like to stick to old roots like Ocarina of Time, i liked Wind Waker but it was enough i did not like Phantom Hourglass, these are just my opinions though

  • Bless you for doing so much.(I hope they don't put Link in WWII.Civil war, maybe. Trojan war, it could work. But WWII is just ridiculous, isn't it? The dark ages work just fine for Link, and you can't have the series be medieval for ages then suddenly be mid-20th century.)
