Beulla, our Boxer, was just lying on the floor in the kitchen when her head started shaking. She got up and was walking around normal...like nothing was happening. Tail wagging, butt wiggling....head shaking. WTH? she would even sit and give her paw, like she always does....any thoughts?
I'd recommend comforting her/keeping her as calm/still as possible while it's happening, and then giving her a little bit of cheese, and/or a drink of either watered-down cows milk, or better still, goats milk if you can get it. That should help.

Could be calcium deficiency. I breed Boxers myself, and we have one bitch here who used to do that when she was younger (usually in the weeks following her seasons/heats). She is now almost 11 years old, so it never did her any harm. But it's still worth monitoring it, just to be on the safe side and rule out epilepsy or anything more serious.
