The London School of Economics

Abdel Bari Atwan, notorious for comments such as "If the Iranian missiles strike Israel, by Allah, I will go to Trafalgar Square and dance with delight," was invited by the LSE Palestine Society to speak on the topic, "The Zionist Lobby and the US/UK Foreign Policy."

The talk took place on Monday 6th December and descended into chaos as Atwan accused Jewish students of bombing Gaza, refused to denounce terrorist group Hamas and provoked students into calling the LSE anti-racism officer (also Jewish) a 'Nazi'.

Atwan has been accused of having broken LSE Student Union guidelines on anti-Semitism.
