Just play 2 strings at once, but the string that's closer to the floor (higher in pitch and smaller diameter) 2 frets higher and thats a power chord.

TO SIMPLIFY THIS. a power chord is just a major or minor chord without the 3rd note of the scale. for example to play E5=E power chord. Just play the first 3 notes (bass notes) of the E chord dont play the G string (G#) note. Same goes for every power chord. Just remove the 3rd degree. Just remember power chords are neither minor or major.

@AmeliaAdamsTv look online at chord charts. Go to your library. They probably have a ton of books on guitar. Blisters and cuts are perfectly normal when you first start out. You have to develop a callus on your fingers. The pain is temporary dude. I suggest starting with an electric guitar, they are WAY easier on your fingers. If you are playing electcic tt sounds like you might need to take your axe to a music store and have the action lowered.

@AmeliaAdamsTv bro take it easy,u can do it if i can do it, then u can do it also. Just takes lots of practice. i honestly believe in u i think u can do it just learn NORMAL chords 1st then get everything else you need, Takes time and practice.

I hate guitar its so confusing I cant play it at all I try and it fails I get blisters on my fingers and I dont get what the fuck chords are !
