Haha! keep your body parts in a jar after surgery. LOL! I have my placenta from dd2 birth still in my freezer. I wanted to eat it. All the mammals I know of do this.. but just like the pigs ear I chickened out. But the placenta is still there... It helps with post baby depression.

I read that animals do this to remove any chance of a predator discovering them. Were you on the run and being hunted back then? If animals only knew that freezers were an option perhaps, it would save them from having to WOLF those placentas down (Yes, I said "wolf"!) : P
