I first heard this song in Vietnam. It captures the frantic energy of the anti-war movement after Kent State, but she appeared at the trailing edge of the movement and never got the recognition she deserved. Once the draft ended, the anti-war movement began to disintegrate. The 1971 Moritorium was the last spasm of the period and then it became bits and pieces of community activism and boutique terrorism. By the time I got back from Vietnam, Joy to the World captured the zeitgeist
