intro of Monkey Island with Game Blaster Sound enabled.

Most videos I found had either AdLib od PC speaker sound enabled, so I thought I'd record one with GameBlaster music. The Gameblaster was made by Creative Labs before the Soundblaster and the AdLib were created.

Recorded in DOSBox 0.73

  • I thought this was called soundblaster

  • @legoman6986 The gameblaster came before the Soundblaster

  • YES!! Just how I remember it!

  • Manchmal vermisse ich meinen alten 386er.

  • I always liked the game blaster card. I owned that as well as the CMS chips on my first soundblaster. I think this sounds a lot better than FM Syntheses at the time.

  • IL MIGLIOR GIOCO DI SEMPRE!!!!!

  • fact: this was the second product to use philop sa 1099, after the sam coupe computer. but the sam coupe was never rhliced outside england, and even there it was a comercial disaster because it was to be a successor to the spexi, but wound up being an 8 bit competiter to amiga. Someone who creates an 8 bit system to fight a 16 bit system is only asking for trouble.

  • I liked the Game Blaster. If only it got more support...

  • I can hear La Roux doing something with this.
