Eternal Darkness Walkthrough, Part 1 - Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to my walkthrough for Eternal Darkness, released in 2002 for the Nintendo Gamecube. Eternal Darkness is a survival-horror style game with some unique twists. It wasn't a big hit at its release due to a lackluster marketing campaign, however it has gained a cult following since. It's actually one of my favourite games of all time.

Now, I know that I started a walkthrough for this a while ago, however my original disc got damaged beyond repair and it took me a while to find a new one. I have recorded everything again from the beginning and will be taking down the old walkthrough (which only got up to Karim's chapter anyway). This one has also been recorded in widescreen and was compressed at better settings than the old one. I have fully recorded this walkthrough so it IS finished :)

This video simply covers the introduction story. I will often provide additional detail in the comments section, so be sure to check here too. I hope you guys find this walkthrough enjoyable.

I knew it! She did the voice of the female Commander Shephard of Mass Effect! I"m officially her fan. (I love this game too but I'm a die hard Mass Effect fan lol) I know a voice when I hear it lol!

I miss this game. It was creepy but in an artistic way. I wonder though if the woman who does the Alexandra's voice in the game is the same woman who does Commander Shephard's voice on Mass Effect because it's sounds just alike but a little more older. Also I know this question is oxymoronic but considering I haven't played this game in ages, I totally forgot lol but The purpose of enchanting the weapons is to make them stronger correct?

OMG the body is like a freaking slaughtered pig without the head and that fucking arm where did that come from? didnt see it when they showed just the body :-/

Definately. Not to mention, he says "There's not much to see..." and we can assume that there's nothing but meat and bone under that sheet, and it's more than likely nondescript, so when he asks "is that your grandfather, Edward?"

It's hilarious, because all they have to see of it, is his ring. She can't identify him by face or anything that makes sense. No, its the "ring." What if someone robbed him and took the ring? Coulda been someone else...
