Lovely footage of Pan Am 707s; looks like a -100 in the first couple scenes, and a -300 "Intercontinental" on the ground in Bermuda.

And, a beautiful DC-8 on landing!

  • She takes off on a 707 and lands on a DC8.

  • Well, uh... if Pan Am's standard load was like in this movie, it's no wonder they went belly up! :)

  • Thank you for the movie. Awesome. It brings back a lot of good memories. We need more movies like this. God bless you for remembering Pan Pam.

  • @bedfordbay Yes. Doris Day was a very versatile actress.

  • @bedfordbay i guess but the landing and take off looked like a 707 maybe upload mistaken it.

  • Love that the whole set, plane and stewardess uniforms looks exactly like the new show Pan AM

  • They should have used this to model the interior of Pan Am 707 in the TV show Pan Am. This movie must have been made in the early 60's. I like the fact that she boards a 707-321 at the Worldport, and deplanes, but the plane they show landing at Bermuda, which must be stock footage is a DC-8-32/33.

  • @bedfordbay That's what happens when u fly into Bermuda lol.

  • @bedfordbay You never knew that the 707 was designed to shed extra fuselage in flight? :D

  • @artieroo These days, they would have overbooked it by 50%.

  • I want that Citroen convertible! o_o
