Let us now when you find the cause of the pop and fart. What carbs are you useing? 1956 Ford ECG's work good. Your Malloty dist. might be a model ZB? See if the Nicson intake has F8 cast on the rear. Is it a 3 bolt or 4 bolt carb. pattern? Wish you'll had sent the cam to Elgin Cams in Calif. for a regrind. Post more videos of that Hot Rod with the 337 !!!!

Impressive !!!!!!!! Give the details on the engine rebuild. Looks like aftermarket heads and sounds like a hot camshaft ! Ever heard of a Nicson 2x2 intake for the 337 ?

Stock build with stock cam, heads are Edmunds & John has a Nicson 2x2 for it & an old Mallory dist. Pops & farts but it still runs strong ;-)
