  • It's soo good to hear his voice again. From the sound of it, he's about to make a comeback. Can't wait to hear his new album. Very exciting! I've got one thing to say to Steve, though: "NEVER stop believing, because your fans never stopped believing in you". Thanx for posting this, merrypeary.

  • @crocodilescry You are very welcome. I do hope he is planning to record a album, because as you have said, we have not stopped Belivin' in him!!!

  • 5:28 Not my best shot but its mine! I was there to document the event at the HWOF 2005!

  • @CamelotShadow I have seen Shadow water marks on pictures. Is that you? Were you there at the HWWOF as a fan or are you a professional photographer?

  • @merrypeary

    I was most certainly there...as a fan....I waited patientedly...LOL.

Steve was so cordial. I woould miracleously meet him a few days later...We talked 0of that magic day & I hope it will live for us in a very special way forever!

  • @CamelotShadow Wow how foutunate you were to be there and to be able to meet Steve. I am glad that you were and that you took pictures and have shared them with us.

  • I hope his voice can still carry a tune. He is by far one of the greatest/unique vocalist ever to sing. HIs songs have stood the test of time.

  • linoma, Journey were huge in the UK back in the 80s, guys used to dress in coat tails to copy our lovely Steve Perry at the club i went to,lol. Escape was absolutley huge back then in the UK. I know loads of Brits who have been into Journey for 30 years.

  • Also forgot the soundtrack album they made. Anyway, Steve Perry in Scotland ? That, I would walk barefoot over hot coals to see. Best vocalist I ever heard.

  • Journey going since 1982 ? Does this guy know anything ? Don't Stop Believing was originally released in 1981 from their 7th studio album !! Really Gary, you need to brush up a bit. Do you even know what the album was called ? Give me a call and I'll fill in the blanks.

  • Steve, PLEASE good gracious come back to us....So many of us miss you SO MUCH more than the "new Journey". Have a heart and come back to us. I know you are set in your life, but YOU coming back to US ,couldn't even come close to them!!! 143 Steve P L E A S E!!!!!!!

  • i moved to the states in 1988 from britain but i dont ever recall hearing a journey song which i find quite amazing i think there great, maybe it was down to the great music britain churned out back then, i do miss the radio over there its really classy compared to the states thats too commercialised and full of crappy d js
