In this day and age, all we the Muslims do is talk, talk and talk. We talk about unity and the times of the golden era of Islam, but what do we do to emulate the great Islamic personalities of the past.

We complain about the help of Allah not desending, but we also can't be bothered to pray our 5 compulsory prayers. What we need to do is change ourselves before we complain. And also become 'people of action'.

@kingalisouth You have missed the point of the lecture. The point being, that rather than depending on others, and our past, WE should become people of action, and "be the change". We can sit and blame each other, but change came by action men, in particular INDIVIDUALS e.g. Abu Bakr, Umar, Salahuddin, Umar bin Abdul Aziz to name but a few.

Dont blame the leaders even if they do alot of damage because in the end, what are you doing? the leaders are corrupt because the followers are corrupt! In the end, the population pick and choose what laws they want, but you cant only follow half of the sunnah and throw the rest out :S Oh allah, make us men of action and oh allah make us men of qulity and oh allah grant us janatal matwa!! ameen

The reason why are we in the state that we are in ,you don't need a rocket scientific to figure that out . As I see : One we don't have Ittehad (unity) neither do we try our utmost to develop one . Our Beloved Mohammed wanted that Unity among the warrings tribes and worked for it God rewarded him .No pains no gains.

Secondly we don't have iJTehad ( creaivity).

Fractionating our selfves is what we do best.

Every masjid must be a center for social services to those in need .
