  • I find caterpillars like that on Ceanothus bushes occasionally. Seems to me they turn into generic little brown moths, at least the ones around my place do! :D Nice close-up video work!

  • Well, this one was very near a ceanothus bush! It's a vapourer moth. After being such a showy caterpillar, I suppose becoming a moth is bound to be an anticlimax in terms of looks.
