Right before the school became what is currently Phillip (and Sala) Burton High School, it was 'The Drow'. Big ups to all that was part of the roster for the final 2 years of WWHS!

  • I didn't go to Burton, but damn I remember Burton and Bal used to always hella get down back in the day......

  • I graduated from Woodrow Wilson in 1985, it was a horrible school. The majority of students came from troubled homes, did not want to learn and were disrespectful towards teachers . It was more of a juvenile delinquent school to prepare some kids for the big house.. prison. Teachers really tried hard , the programs were available to learn and succeed. I've seen many of the alumni's in the E.R where I work and only feel pitty for them , they had a chance to learn and better their lives.

  • @abycakesy tht wilson hs is the one in long beach.

    Whoo class of '14 !!

  • I love this video! Good memories, crazy, but good! Wilson Class of '96!

  • Thanks for posting this up I remember this watching on TV when that happen in fact I went to George Washington high school and in the fall of 1993 it was Wilson that beat us in Turkey Day and when they disbanded Wilson after the 1993-94 school year and their head Don Espy and his son Tyrell played on that team and he and three other players end up playing their final year at Washington and it was 17 years ago and I was in the 11th grade and it was the sign of times for Woodrow Wilson.
