Fun stuff, but you had to have used Game Genie or something, right? No way even a Hammer Bros. suit could live getting hit like that.

No Game Genie at all. That's true play. I only practiced it, so I could be really at ease with what I did. I didn't get hit though. You have to accept that there are good players in this world. Forget about Game Genie. I never needed it in all my life dude! That only breaks challenge imho... ;)

Hm...Weird. I could've sworn jumping on Bowser would count as getting hit, and I didn't think a Hammer Bro. suit was invincible when crouching. But then I'm kinda rusty and never got to use that one much, so I could be wrong.

Crouching and avoiding Bowser's jumps has nothing to do with the Hammer Bro suit. You can believe me, because I am not rusty at all. ;)

Same thing about jumping on Bowser's head. It's easy and not that dangerous. ;)

YEAAAAAAHHHH! My NES died about 13 years ago, and then a playstation took its place, so I never played Mario again... I watched the whole lot of it and still love & miss it soooo much!

Aw and here I was thinking you were goin to get rid of all the blocks :P

When I first saw the ending to this game when my mom played it I thought the only way to beat Bowser was to make him break through the floor but obviously the hammers and the fire balls can beat him.....the breaking through the floor is just the more risky and much harder way

wooow never figured it out that you could beat bowser that way..... it took me almost 20 years to find out that i could defeat bowser differently
