Species 017

Species 017 is a good, kindhearted beautiful dragon, nothing special or unique about it.

There's a hell of a lot more to be added to this beautiful creature and even though I love it a lot I can't say I'm 100% happy with it because I know what I could have done if the complexity meter wasn't running out so fast.

But regardless of whether it could've been more than what it is or not, it's still a very beautiful dragon and I love it for what it is :)

This is beautiful. One of the greatest features in your work is that you don't neglect texturing. The modelling is awesome, but what really sets this off from other creatures is that it doesn't look plastic.

How long did it take to paint, and how hard was it?

It took a couple hours to perfect, but then again all my creatures take a while to make, usually between 2-3 hours for the more complex ones.

As for those that look plastic, well I make some of them look that way on purpose :) I like it for some reason. But, the plastic look doesn't go well with stuff like this or the Deer or some of my other creatures so I make them less shiny and more realistic looking.
