  • did you splice the wire by yourself and added the fuse? or did the fuse come with the cig adapter

  • @jahnxena the wire was off a powerlet 12v-2-us cable so it already had the fuse on it.

  • question

theres two wires you connected to the battery? one is the ground wire connected to the negative side of the battery and one has a fuse and connected to the positive.

  • @jahnxena that is correct 30amp fuse on the red wire

  • nice, hows the weather there? im planning to buy the bike but it gets cold in jersey all year round except summer

  • Very cool. I will do this in my bike here in Brazil.

  • wonder if you could splice one of those radar detectors on like that?

  • @sotaros93 any gps that fits inside a case this big will work, as the mount attaches to the case, then the case zips around the GPS. I'll make another video about it with more info if it helps. "Internal dimensions: 135mm across x 85 wide x 20 deep. (Max size) Includes 3 x foam spacers to support smaller GPS units!

  • @karlosdajackal ok thanks... i just wanted to know which models are compatible with the mount but i guess that varies from model to model so i'm gonna do some research on it...

  • @sotaros93 its an old Sony GPS, U53, they don't provide map updates for it since 2008, i would not recommend this as a sat-nav. When its setup it works well but finding places takes ages, especially in Ireland as we don't have post codes.
