Feeding the birds in winter is a kind and gentle gift to nature. If you have some interest in birds, and are open to going out to the backyard to feed our feathered friends, they are going to give you quite a show! Black-capped Chickadees, Nuthatches, Black-eyed Junco, and Downy Woodpeckers are in this show. The weather was cold, around 15 degrees, and snow had fallen, so the feeder was busy!
