Thats a good place to keep it. I have a rescue tool tied to the bottom of my seatbelt, with a breakaway clasp so that I can pull it off if I need it fast.

lol... my edc is a knife and a zippo... zippo cause im a pyro, and you never know when you need fire, also is fun to do tricks with if youre bored... and you never know when youre gonna need a knife..

PS, since grade 8 i always carried a swiss army knife or some sort in case of an emergence.

@speier The Gerber E-Z Out opens that fast out of the box. I do put some Gibbs gun oil on the hinge, which seems to last forever and makes it even better.

I've heard it was 450ss. I got one lightly used a few months ago for 15 bucks off a friend. The knife is made amazingly well and hasn't failed me yet. A great daily carry

all I knwo is its a 400 series stainless, so I assume 420HC perhaps 440C? Definatly not S30V...
