So... my lawyer got back to me.

What? I know a lawyer? ZOMG.

Actually I know a few. I used to work in conjunction with Centrelink Fruad division amongst other things.

ZOMG, you didn't know that?

Well, it pays to find out who you threaten with Legal Action doesn't it Aunty G?

Turns out, if the images aren't copyrighted, percieved to be defamitory and I am not profiting from them, you have no leg to stand on. They are part of the public domain and conditions for their use have never been set down or applied even before their use.

Now if you got craploads of money, you could get a Lawyer.

A good lawyer would tell you there is no hope in hell and not take your money.

But there aren't any good lawyers are there?

A bad one would rip you off and then at the end of it tell you they can't win.

Why?

You have to prove *intent*

What was the intent of the photos?

Were they to defame you? Nope.
Were they photos of derrogatory things? Nope.

The intent was to upload a tribute of happy snap shots with Grandad and you cannot prove otherwise.

So good luck there love.

Technically, I can re-upload the original video with its original content and the only ones who can decide to take it down is YouTube. YouTube can run their website how ever they like, but remember they are not the Law. Legally, YOU can't do nothing.

But I think I like the new Tribute Video showing the world the real people who cared about Grandad and leaving out the *Trouble Makers* within the family.

And inserting some nice long snap-shots of my side of the family.

Well, you are one who loves to control things, but let me remind you right now, you have ABSOLUTELY NO control over this now. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Oh and by the way.

Don't ever speak to me like that again.
Don't ever speak to me with that level of disrespect.
Don't ever threaten me with Legal Action.

I have three balls in my court right now.

1) Who is it that boasts about never paying for anything? Who is it that is so proud about Pirating absolutely everything they have? Software, Music, Latest Movies?

Let me assure you 'dear' that when an investigation goes down and your computers are checked, the excuse, 'Everyone does it' won't hold up.

2) And my personal favourite. I love Centrelink investigations. They uncover so much more than ever initially intended. So did you tell Centrelink that you have to look after two sick girls, possibly wheelchair bound?

Are they the same sick girls who are both working? One making teddys and selling them (is she paying tax?) the other dancing around running dancing lessons....

The same sick girls that can't leave the house but can drive from their house, together alone without your supervision, on a long drive to the Funeral?

I just wonder how much information Centrelink really has, and oh boy, we all know how Centrelink is investigating FRAUD these days. I heard you own two houses, and never worked a day in your life... I wonder if you're selling pirated movies to support some things.. You may not be, but what do I know... The investigators can find that out right?

3) Tax Evasion: A little investigation into making sure all people who are working and own one or two houses are paying the correct taxes never hurts does it?

Point is, 'dear' - If you are all above board and do things right, none of these checks will matter at all. But 'we' all know you're not. Don't we.

You should always find out who it is you are threatening with legal action because oh boy, you got the wrong person this time round.

Oh by the way, did you ever tell your daughters that you wished Grandad was dead?

Now out of respect for Granny, the above things are temporarily on hold.

Ever speak to me again with such disrespect or threaten any of my family with legal action again, that includes family down south, I'll get the ball rolling on three fronts.

Not the control freak, that's for sure.

And yes, that is what most of the family consider you to be, just in case you weren't aware.
