I've dealt with colic before, and never had a horse die. Call the vet immediately! Colic is very serious and deadly. No matter what type of colic you need to get the horse up and walking! Keep them up and walking until the vet gets there. The reason you are supposed to keep them up and NOT let them roll is because their gut can get twisted. If that happens, your only options are to euthanize them, or surgery.
@Emura100 No I meant he wouldn't come out until after 3 days of using the bute while the horse was still alive, but it was only 2 days after and he was dead. So I was trying to let people know 3 days could be too long.

awww poor thing ! colic is a horrible thing and so deadly to ! hope this horse is ok and make it through....some horses aren't so lucky
