If there's one snack I really like it's Guo Bao. I love to get it in Kobe's Chinatown when I get the chance. Basically, it's a steamed pork sandwich with sweet sauce. It's cheap and tastes great.

Let me know what you think of ths video. I'm thinking of making a series of "food" videos. Kevin trying various Japanese and other foods, both famous and weird...and of course vlogging about it. If you'd be interested in some more "food" vlogs, please leave a comment!

  • In Kobe China Town located in Japan what dialect do the Chinese community speak? I assume they speak Japanese to communicate with everyone in the country but do they speak something dfferent at home? ex. Cantonese, Fujinese, or just mandarin like main land china and Taiwan?

  • to be honest, I'm not really sure. I don't speak Chinese. There are several chinese people in my Japanese language class. Some are from Beijing, others from more southern parts of China.

  • do you have a girlfriend? In all of your videos you are by yourself.

  • I'm actually married, but my wife chooses not to be in my videos :)

  • I had one of those in china town in Chicago! It was more of a filled dumpling there though. They also did green onion and ham which was pretty good too. another great vid!

  • Awesome! Thanks for watching and enjoying :)

  • It's a gua bao (刮包)! Aka the Taiwanese version of a hamburger- steamed bun with pork belly inside. Delicious!

  • Are you initially from Canada? I sense a slight Canadian accent.

  • I'm not drunk!... You're cute, Kevin! But why eat Chinese food in Japan? Besides, specifically the "guo bao" here is Taiwanese, called correctly "gua bao" (GUA not GUO,) sometimes called "lotus wrap" by other Chinese, because the steamed dough part resembles folded lotus leaf. Bon Appetit!

  • its mainly chinese bun with char siu (: sandwich..

  • more kevin eating food videos please...

  • Chinatown in Japan?
