We were so blessed to perform in this place (October 30, 2008) because everybody enjoyed and participated in dancing. All of us were wearing Halloween costumes, which surprised them. When I was talking to Betty the Activities director, I didnt tell her that we will do the Halloween Special performance, lol. The lobby was fully occupied with seniors; some of them could not come down because of the time. They were happy, and the applause that we received was amazing. This was the first time they watched a line dancing performance. One of the seniors came to me and asked us to come back. I said we will come back on Christmas day because we are giving a special presentation because its the Lords Jesus Christ birthday. I would like to thank the Made in Manila ladies for celebrating Halloween, and they looked fabulous, namely: Ruby Bowyer---------------- Lady Robin Hood, Lita Staples--------------------Royal Lady Pirate Lee Schlater------------------ Cowgirl Tata Hawksley--------------- Nurse Stella Martin----------------- Medusa Vanessa Rushing------------ Dorothy, Erlinda Adlawan------------ Lady Witch Angela Rushing ------------ Rustic Lady Pirate. There are lots of occasions and holidays when we can get to dress up in costumes, so what makes Halloween so special? Well, for the most part, Halloween costumes are specifically designed to duplicate characters. You can even be like me. Nah! I am one of a kind, lol. It really doesn't matter what kind of costume you like or how you celebrate Halloween. In the end, what's important is that you enjoy yourself and keep safe at the same time. Halloween is a time for good-natured fun and revelry, for kids and adults alike. Whether you're out on the streets or with friends at a party, or volunteering in nursing homes, just remember to be considerate of others while you have a good time! The Lord wants us to enjoy our life and at the same time do some entertainment for others. What a wonderful gift he gave us, and we know how to do line dancing, lol. I hope you enjoyed our dances and like our costume. We are fully booked these coming holidays, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Happy Halloween
