Very good review. Looking forward to seeing the director's cut after watching this. I really liked the theatrical release. I hate how most movies push the ADD crap on you. Like Christopher Nolan..although I really like his films I wish that he'd stop cutting from scenario to scenario because it makes me feel like I'm watching a two hour trailer instead of a film (in 'real time'.)

Great movie adaption. Better ending than moore's psionic squid bomb which was quite frankly too Fucked up and gay stupid.

Damn I can't wait to get the directors cut. This is the kind of film that makes me ask myself ''What more could I ask for?''
I've seen some of the director cut scenes, but the owlship sex scene is my favourite sex scene in history and now it's longer HURRAH!!!!!!!!!!
But I was one of the few without any issues with running time, violence, casting, acting (including Malin Akerman), blue cock, soundtrack.
This flicks in my top five ever...ever...ever

One of the best comicbook movies ever imo forget The Dark Knight and its psuedo realism.
Hey, does the Director's Cut still have the damn long sex scene? Does it have more of it or less? I hated that scene.

Do you mean the owlship sex scene? It is a few seconds longer in the DC.
I thought the scene was excellent. Very funny. I love the contrast of graphic sex juxtaposed with romantic, nostalgic music. Very amusing, and consistent with the tone of the film.
