Wonderful... =) This does help explain why my apartment is STILL a mess...
So, I can envision and expect a clean apartment... if i was there with Abraham I would want to ask... if I expect it to be clean but I live with a roommate that does NOT expect it to be clean and we both are there together... how can I get my roommate to clean to help... or something like that. :)

This is fantastic! I'm always saying how my house is always a mess...I can't do anything today I have to clean the house blah blah...from right now I'm changing my expectation on the state of my house. I'm going to take time every day to create my version of my clean, organised home :)

Sometimes a large part of me would like to hear I'm not responsible for negative outcomes - I suppose we would like to take 'time off' and blame anybody but ourselves. But now it won't wash because we know too much !
