Probably one of worst defenses in Pete Carroll's tenure at SC. If it wasn't for SC's high powered offense that year, they probably would've lost more than just one game.
I loved how the Dogs didn't back down one bit. It took an incredible showing by #5 (as an SC fan I refuse to say his name) to keep the Trojans in the game. No #5, no victory.
@fweeeew Unfortunatly this loss change our program. We lost our pride, swagger, and our style of play. After the SC loss, we went to loose 4 straight including the bowl game. From 2001-2005, we had a type of mojo. A type of mentality which we thought we believed we were better than those BCS teams. Too bad we lost that, and Boise overtook us.
What a showing by the Bulldogs against a semi-professional team using a sham roster of 'student-athletes.' USC----Best team money can buy. But the atmosphere was great and the night was amazing nevertheless. USC fans were respectful and gracious hosts. Huge Red Wave showing in LA. But it's 2011----where are the Miami, Auburn, and Ohio State postseason bans!?

I was in the hospital after my son was born, still one of the most exciting games I've ever watched.
I can remember the Bush TD run where he stops on a dime and reverses field for the score like it was yesterday. I was rooting for Fresno cause they were the underdog and they played one hell of a game.
@cbaldwinjr Yea and we couldn't finish the season either. Blew the Nevada game away and LA Tech. And then we didn't even show up to play Tulsa in the bowl game.
