Between their first album in 1977 and their last in 1988, Talking Heads became one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the '80s, while managing to earn several pop hits. While some of their music can seem too self-consciously experimental, clever, and intellectual for its own good, at their best Talking Heads represent everything good about art-school punks

Looks like they're playing inside of a damn morgue with all the heavy velvet drapery and carpeting. Adds to the creepy atmosphere of the video.

That is the most brilliant surreal line in all of lyrical history. Every time I hear this song playing, although I know all the lyrics, no matter where I am I shout that line out with the song and feel better than some Bible Thumper does going to church a thousand times.
