@kamal21071964B If I remember correctly the ports and pins settings in Mach 3 were incorrect after some searching on the net I found a manual that had the correct port and pin numbers/settings

@alex69864 hmm i was skeptical of these units but since 74hc14 is worth maybe 10 cents a piece i'm not so worried. can these be duplicated in a home brew system?

I had that exact problem with all my axis, turned out the ports and pins settings given by the manufacturer were wrong, if you still have the problem let me know and I can give you the correct ports and pins settings

swapping the chip SN74HC14N but watch out for their positions if there is a problem in some of the chips other axis will rotate in one direction then just buy a new chip but changes both

I saw a note somewhere that when you cant get both directions its due to the four wires from the servo being connected incorrectly.
