Really nice solo man. But, the tempo really does have to slow down, it's a funk groove, it can't be soulful and that fast at the same time.

If you think it is never this fast, listen to Freddie Hubbard's performance at the 1980 Montreux Jazz Festival. It is at least this fast with even a double time samba for a few chorus' in the solo. Just because the internet makes you anonymous doesn't mean you know shit about shit.

Lol ya they sampled this. Its always exciting knowing the root of a sample. I feel like thats why I love old school hip hop so much. i know so many of the samples
