Three Little Cute Kittens 31Mar08

A quick updates. Brought them to the vet this evening and according to the vet, they are not having flu especially the white kitty. However there is inflammation on his both eyes. I have bought a small packet of kitty food, frontline tick spray and also eye drop solution for kitties as all of them have ticks problem.

Vaccination and deworming will only be carried out next 2 weeks :)

I found Revolution to be the best medicine for fleas, it also takes care of ear-mites and couple of other things and my cats didn't have any toxic side effects to Revolution like they did with other even name brand flea meds but you have to get Revolution for kittens or if you only have the adult cat one, you put on half a bottle on the kitten; founder of a cat shelter taught me that. I wish there were more kind people caring about abandoned animals like that instead of euthanizing millions .

I read that garlic washes can repel fleas and ticks. A mild wash in garlic water could be worth a try. Maybe that's where the myth about vampires hating garlic came from. Blood suckers.

This is what I did for my hand-raised kitten when he was ready for solid(ish) food. Good suggestion, Kumbulu. :)

Glad to see the kitties don't have anything serious. Get rid of those fleas, though! Fleas can cause more serious problems if you let them get out of hand. Khairul might also want to treat his other cats (Tripod and Snowy) for fleas so that there is less of a risk that the buggers come back.
